Instructional Leadership: Empowering Teachers, Inspiring Students!
At our school, we are committed to continuous improvement. Our Instructional Facilitator serves as a lead learner and coach, working directly with teachers and students to ensure that our classrooms are using the most effective, research-based teaching strategies available today.
What is an Instructional Facilitator?
Think of the Instructional Facilitator as a "teacher for the teachers." Their goal is to support the professional growth of our staff, which directly impacts the success of every student in the building.
Coaching & Collaboration: The facilitator works side-by-side with teachers to plan engaging lessons, analyze student data, and model new teaching techniques.
Resource Support: They stay on the cutting edge of educational trends, bringing new tools, books, and technology into our classrooms to keep learning fresh and exciting.
Data-Driven Decisions: By looking at school-wide assessment trends, the facilitator helps teachers identify exactly which skills students have mastered and where they might need a little extra "boost."
How it Benefits Your Child
While much of the facilitator's work happens with adults, the results are felt by every student:
High-Quality Instruction: Because our teachers are constantly receiving feedback and new ideas, your child benefits from the most modern and effective teaching methods.
Targeted Intervention: The facilitator helps coordinate "Win Time" (What I Need) or "Intervention Blocks," ensuring that if a student is struggling with a specific concept, they get immediate, targeted help.
Consistency: They help ensure that a 2nd grader in one classroom is learning the same high-level concepts as a 2nd grader in the room next door.
